I'm Back!

Yes, It's been a while but better late than never. I'll start where I left off. I guess it's kinda the begining then. ha! I'll start off in May 2010- State Track. In track I run the 4x100 meter race and I pole vault. I made it to state in both of those events. State track was May 20-22. The night before we left for state track, the girls who made it all had a pre-state track sleep over. It was a blast. We wresteled, messed around on the computer, I painted their faces like Avatars and ATE! A LOT!

The next morning though we had to be at the school by 6 a.m. It was a very long bus ride so we had to find things to entertain us. This was one of the many things we did. I put make-up on Carter and the bad thing is.. it was his idea!

Once we got to Jefferson City we had practice to get used to the new track. Then it was off to the hotel to get rested up for the next days events. Friday I only had one event Pole Vault.

Opening Height- 7' Im up- Cleared it with ease
next height- 7'6" I soar over the bar
8'- Miss the first time- clear my second time
8'6"- Miss, try again a little closer, im up for my final attempt..and I miss! Bummer!

It's okay though I took home 3rd Place at state!

The stress was over...or not! I still have the 4x1 race. The most nerve racking race. One step too quick you'll over run one step too late your teammate will run into you.

Runers too you mark. Set *Bang* Race is off. Thea is in third place- hand off to Anna Now if 7th anna Hands off too me I book it Catch up to 6th perfect hand off to Spenser. The quickest gir on our team.. I yell at the top of my lungs at to to RUNNNNNN. In the end we end up with 5th out of more than 20 teams! Pretty good I think!

Here are some random pictures from State Track 2010!

Being a Big Sister is SO much Fun!

Who knew being an older sister could be so much fun. Heavenly Father did sent me a little sister; just not the normal way! Let me explain a little on how she is my little sister =) When I was about 14 or so my science teacher, and neighbor, Ken, asked me if I would like a summer job watching his and Angels little girl. Of course, being 14 a summer job sounded awesome. So, I told them yes. When summer came around I started watching Kenlyn from 8 am to 3 every weekday, while Ken and Angel were at summer school. After a while though, it seemed as if I was there longer than needed. I would just stay and hang out. After the summer was over I found myself over there quite often. I started to get really attached to this family. They were fun, laid back, and very easy to get along with. Soon the next summer rolled around and they knew they didnt even need to ask me if I would baby sit. Everyday I got closer and closer to Ken, Angle, and Kenlyn. Even during the school year on some weekends when they needed a sitter, I was the first on the list. Sometimes they would come home late and I would be asleep on the couch so they would just let me sleep. AND that was the start of my nights at the Groves. Sooner than I expected, everyone in my house had moved out and it was just me and my mom. Unfortunatly, my mom worked nights a lot and I would get super scared. So Ken invited me to stay whenever I needed. At first I was a little weary but soon enough it seemed I spent all my time over there. Now, four years later, I am closer than ever to them. Literally, I spend ALL my time over here and I love it! Kenlyn is such a hoot and I always have fun with her! As you can see from the pictures!
